I. Description of the 5G Private Network and Coverage Area
The facility has received support from the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Digital Affairs to establish a 5G private frequency network within Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, making it the largest 5G private network museum in the country. The 5G network covers areas including the Auditorium, Central Hallway, Permanent Exhibition Hall, 1st Exhibition Hall, 2nd Exhibition Hall, 3rd Exhibition Hall, Gallery (1F), and the Gate of Great Loyalty and Gate of Great Piety areas, as shown with the blue areas in the image below.
II. Available 5G Private Network Connection Equipment
The 5G private network is an independent network that is not limited by the number of public network base stations, user capacity, orientation, or inclination angle. It also doesn't require sharing bandwidth with others, avoiding traffic instability issues caused by crowds. The high bandwidth, low latency, and wide connectivity of the 5G private network can support high-traffic real-time streaming, virtual reality, remote collaborative performances, interactive experiences, and various other artistic applications integrated with technology.
To promote Taiwan's local cultural arts and enhance cultural accessibility and equality, applications to use our 5G private network are currently free of charge. The following 5G private network connection equipment is available:
