The Taiwan Cherry BaChong, a variety of Bellflower Cherry, is one of the cherry species that grow endemically in Taiwan, with compound petals and deep peachy-red flowers that blossom in mid-February. When in full bloom, the entire tree is a brilliant shade of peachy red, making for a dazzling sight.
Planted along the Hubei Ecological Area, this walkway is known as the “Cherry Blossom Road” during the flowering season, and is a hotspot for tourists coming to enjoy the flowers every year.
