Many large banyan trees have been planted to the left of the Gate of Great Piety, their dense foliage and extensive shade the characteristic elements that form a rainforest environment. A variety of forest undergrowth flora have been planted under the trees, and an eco-pond with adjustable water volume as well as a naturally shaped gravel walkway have been set up, creating a special outdoor teaching area.
