Hoop Pine Walkway

After entering Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Park from the gate by the corner of Xinyi Road and Hangzhou South Road or the gate by Aiguo East Road and Hangzhou South Road, you will find the entrance to the Hoop Pine Walkway. The walkway runs through Hubei Ecological Area, where you can enjoy the scenery and plants on both sides along the way.

Most of the trees in this area are Araucaria cunninghamii, the Hoop Pine, and a few are Araucaria excelsa, the Norfolk Island Pine. The shade of the trees is so dense that even in the middle of summer it is still cool and refreshing, a rare forest trail in the middle of the city.

  • The forest trail-like Hoop Pine Walkway
  • The walkway also provides seats for resting
  • A great place to keep cool and chit-chat
