About the Collection

In 2012, the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall established a Research and Collection Division. In addition to collecting artifacts related to President Chiang Kai-shek, this division also accepts art and cultural works from various professional fields.

At present, the Memorial Hall only accepts gratis donations and after such donations are examined and accepted by the Collection Review Committee they are subject to a series of collection management processes.

The preservation of collection items is the primary function of this division and to facilitate that work there is a professional collection storage area equipped with its own constant temperature and humidity system, access control security system, anti-theft monitoring system, automatic fire-prevention system and air-purification system. This ensures that the collection’s works are stored in an optimal environment and preserved in pristine conditions.
