National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall

Taiwan's first immersive Picasso light and shadow exhibition is being held at Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall in 2026, recreating the master’s creative soul and charm through light and shadow in a spectacular feast combining vision and art.Note: Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall will be closed on Chinese New Year’s Eve(2/16), Chinese New Year’s Day(2/17), and 228 Peace Memorial Day(2/28).

The renowned Japanese curatorial team STEPeast, in collaboration with over 10 world-class Japanese digital artists, presents a brand-new creation with the theme "Play with Light and Shadow, Experience a Magical Artistic Journey." This upgraded version brings an even more stunning "Art in Wonderland II"!

This year’s award exhibition features overthree hundred outstanding works, includingcompetition winners, promotional activities,and calligraphy and seal carving lesson plans,showcasing both traditional and contemporaryaspects of Chinese character aesthetics

This exhibition, titled Radiant Visions of the Heart, presents the recent creative works of artist Tsai Uen-Lin, reflecting his perceptions of life, humanistic observations, and contemplations of nature. Having long devoted himself to the medium of watercolor, the artist captures the flow of light and shadow and layers of color to distill fleeting emotions and states of mind onto the pictorial surface, offering an artistic interpretation of inner landscapes. Featuring more than fifty works, the exhibition encompasses both magnificent natural scenery and subtle yet moving moments from everyday life. Through interwoven layers of color, each painting is imbued with a profound and radiant vitality.

The Taipei Metropolitan Oil Painters Association was registered and established in 2006. This exhibition not only showcases the creative achievements of its members over the years, but also hopes to share the aesthetics of urban life with the public through art education and exhibition activities. The exhibition features more than 100 selected works by 36 members, including landscapes, still lifes, and figures, as well as abstract and figurative works. Using watercolors, oil paints and mixed media, the works subjectively record the beautiful scenery of mountains and seasides in various places, and continue to show the diverse and wonderful creative styles to the public.
