| Abstract | This book, part of the academic research series by the National Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall, is based on a research project led by Professor Hsueh Hua-Yuan from the Taiwan History Institute at National Chengchi University (October 2017 - September 2018). After academic revision and review, it provides an in-depth analysis of Lei Chen’s influence on Taiwan’s political landscape in the 1950s, focusing on transitional justice. The author examines the stages before, during, and after Lei Chen’s case, clarifying the roles of key figures involved and shedding light on historical truths.
