Main Hall.
Designed by the renowned architect Yang Cho-cheng, the Main Hall of the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall covers an area of approximately 15,000 square meters and stands about 70 meters tall. The structure is divided into three levels: the platform (14.5 meters high), the main hall (24 meters high), and the roof (31.5 meters high). The building is located at the eastern end of the complex, facing west. Inside, it houses the Bronze Statue Hall, while the space within the lower platforms is used for art exhibitions.
The octagonal, double-eaved roof features blue-glazed tiles and layered dougong (bracket sets) beneath the eaves. At the very top, the roof is crowned with a 5.25-meter-tall golden spire.
